MSc thesis. Analogue circuit design with the use of genetic and evolutionary algorithms
My MSc thesis, entitled: "Analogue circuit design with the use of genetic and evolutionary algorithms" involved developing genetic and evolutionary algorithms for designing analogue electric circuits specifically filters. I implemented the most important evolutionary algorithms in a C programme working under the Windows system. In the program, I utilized genetic and evolutionary algorithms as tools for global extrema search of the objective function, determined based on the transfer function of an electrical circuit. This programme is called "evol" and has its own graphical user interface (GUI). This programme was written from scratch, which required a tremendous amount of effort and a broad knowledge of both electrical engineering and computer science. Above I show a screenshot of this programme.
